  1. community would not like that either. I see where you're going, and I'm the same type of player, but I think CTF is an appropriate clan war category. I mean even if DM was played 33% of the time, and KotH was played 33% of the time, I would still want to do CTF the other 33%. I neglect AS because I think the current AS maps could use work
  2. I think the solution lies in map recycling.
  3. if you nerf the recon cloak by making it more visible at a distance the problem is solved people just cant aim for shit so they pick garbage ass recon. because of this, no one knows how to play dm because their tiny brains are too conditioned to playing recon /end
  4. Recon is hardly played in DM. It’s usually a combination of Support, Lancer, Commander, Assault.
  5. Eos, I agree with you that many players favor recon because of the simplicity of the class, thus clan wars are mostly fought on CTF. However, this will not change, nor do I think it should. Versatile players - such as you and I - really have no choice but to play CTF if we are to clan war. Most players like recon and CTF, so I don't think the few (us) should have our way and have recon modified/removed or CTF limited/removed. I think a reasonable approach is to award a fraction of points for a drawn clan war. In my many clan wars, I have never witnessed a drawn DM or KotH clan war. I have participated in hundreds (if not thousands) of drawn CTF cws. I think that this should be amended, because all drawn CTF matches always last 10 minutes. I think players should be rewarded for their 10 minutes of play, because both teams played well enough to create a draw. Sometimes teams are simply even and draws are inevitable. It's not like I'm suggesting anything crazy, In sports a draw has a positive value
  6. If you think about PT gameplay, one is awarded +10 for a kill and -3 for a death. Even if one draws a life and goes 1-1, one is still awarded +7. That’s a positive value, and I think clan wars should follow suit
